Creamy Mushrooms on Toast

This is one of my favorite brunch dishes, they do an amazing version in Salt, Monkstown that is irresistible. My recipe however is not as complex as I assume theirs is.. In fact it's quite lazy, using the limited ingredients found in the fridge this morning, I mimicked their glorious creamy mushrooms and did an alight job if I do say so myself! I'll definitely be making this one again! 



Ingredients:
5 or 6 mushrooms
1 mini Philadelphia cheese tub (or a tbsp Philadelphia cream cheese)
Knob of butter 
Drop of milk 
Pinch dried thyme (fresh would be better)
Pinch garlic salt
Pepper 
1 bagel 

Recipe: 
1. Melt butter in sauce pan, add chopped mushrooms and fry untill golden 
2. Add Philadelphia cheese and mix well 
3. Add thyme, garlic salt and pepper 
4. Add milk and bring to the boil 
5. Toast bagel and smear with left over cheese, top with mushrooms and enjoy! 

Super quick and a tasty treat for breakie!
