Healthy Macaroons
05:36The Happy Pear brothers really know how to do treats! These are by far the nicest macaroons i've ever had and they are so tiny you don't need to feel bad about have one.. or ten. They are also so easy to make.. took about half an hour tops
Ingredients:
- 50 ground almonds
- 120g decanted coconut
- 55g coconut oil
- 60ml honey (or use maple syrup to make it vegan)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 60g dark chocolate melted
Method:
1) Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl
2) Use two mellon ballers to scoop up the mixture and mould into the desired shape
3) Line a baking tray with baking paper and cook the macaroons until golden brown (15 mins at 140 degrees)
4) Let them cool for about 10 mins then drizzle with dark chocolate.
