Review: Jo' Burger

"Love the burger, be the burger"
Birthdays, like all other celebrations, are hard for vegetarians. Eating out is tough when you're looking for somewhere that suits everyone.
Coming from a family which adores steak, myself and my sister are either left staring down the barrel of a tomato pasta... yum, or we get to go to an asian restaurant with plenty of options and my parents play russian roulette with the unknown level of spice. Thankfully my boyfriend and friends are very good when it comes to experimenting with food, but you still don't want anyone to feel like 'oh, theres no meat? greeeeaaaaat', I don't need that on my plate.
So whenever i'm asked to chose a place, I panic with the pressure! Thankfully a friend suggested Jo' Burger (Castle Market (across from Pygmalion bar), Dublin 2) for my last birthday and I couldn't have been happier.

I don't think i've ever been to a cooler place, sad I know... the coolest place i've been to is a burger place.. moving on... On a Thursday night the restaurant was buzzing. As we waited we were entertained by a live DJ set blasting out house music and remixes of pop songs galore.
There are dolls hanging from the celling, graffiti on the walls, even the drinks are served in old comic books. I feel like this restaurant sports an anything goes vibe which is evident in both the decor and the menu. Just look at those options! And sorry, did I mention there is a choice of TWO VEGGIE BURGERS? Heaven!
This is definitely were you want to go if you're looking for a big feed with a side of boogie at the table... the burgers come sky high and those sweet potato fries are too good not to wolf down. Jo' Burger reminds me of somewhere your cooler older sibling would set up with their friends.. its relaxed, fun, quirky and most importantly delicious!
