Roasted Chestnuts

Roasting Chestnuts is ridiculously easy! Iv always loved chestnuts but I've been obsessed with them since my recent holiday to Turkey. You can find them on any street corner summer or winter, bags and bags of chestnuts!!
So here we go! (I found bags of them in Lidl if you're looking!) To start off preheat your oven to 200 C and make Xs in your chestnuts outer hard skin (this will allow the steam to escape and make them easier to peal)
Leave them in the oven for 30 mins!
Now you just have to let them cool and peal! (make sure to peal both hard outer shell and soft inner skin) Simple as!
Don't eat chestnuts that don't open, and don't eat any that have any dark marks!
If you're not going to use them that day you can keep them in an air tight container in the fridge for a few days.
And there you have it, roasted chestnuts! Enjoy!!
It would be so rude to cook chestnuts and not have THIS on in the background!
